After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab-dotted landscapes. The park is also home to lions, leopards, giraffes, and more than 500 bird species. Over the next two days, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across Tarangire’s open plains and river valleys, where wildlife congregates around the Tarangire River. In the evenings, return to your safari lodge or tented camp for relaxation and sundowners. Overnight in Tarangire for two nights.

Your journey continues to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse reserve located along the Great Rift Valley. A game drive here reveals dramatic scenery, from dense groundwater forests to acacia woodlands and the shimmering alkaline lake. Keep your eyes open for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, large hippo pods, and colorful flamingos that line the lake’s shores. Overnight near Lake Manyara.

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands into the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. These three days will be spent exploring the endless savannahs, home to the Big Five and one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth – the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal). Each day offers morning and afternoon game drives in different areas of the park, increasing your chances of spotting cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and countless antelopes. Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive at sunrise before traveling towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera. Relax, enjoy the scenery, and prepare for tomorrow’s crater descent. Overnight on the crater rim.

On your final safari day, descend into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site shelters an incredible concentration of wildlife within its 600-meter-deep walls. Look out for endangered black rhinos, large prides of lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, and wildebeests. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, drive back to Arusha for your onward flight from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
